I have been a Quiller for over 30 years and in my store I only carry those products which I use myself and believe to be the very best quality. I carry 2 kinds of Quilling Paper strips——–Lake City and Paplins. These are the strips of the highest quality and are acid free for those concerned with adding quilled elements to their scrapbooks. These packs are for the standard 1/8 inch wide papers, are all 22 3/4 inch long, have 50 strips per pack, and are manufactured here in the USA. They hold tension very well and come in a huge assortment of colors. Most colors can easily be substituted for the corresponding colors from Lake City and yet Paplins offers many colors that are quite different from LC. This is actually a welcome difference as it expands your color pallet and gives you many more colors to choose from when blending or shading.
If you are looking for Christmas colors in this brand you need the color called Bright Red – Kelly Green- and any of the whites….Bright white, white (off white), or ivory
NOTE: white (off white) is now labeled as “Warm White”….same color different name.
The Royal Blue is much like the old Lake City Periwinkl
